These are the questions buyers actually ask before the first order, in the order they usually come up. Each answer states the condition as well as the answer, so you can tell whether it applies to your project.

What is your MOQ?
1 carton (20 pcs) for smart padlocks and 30 sets for smart door locks. Mixed models in one trial order are accepted, so the first order does not have to be a single model.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. Samples ship in 3-7 days and the sample cost is refundable against your first bulk order. A working video is sent before the sample is dispatched.
What is the lead time?
Samples 3-7 days; trial orders 10-15 days; bulk orders 20-35 days depending on model and quantity. Rush production can be arranged when a project date is fixed.
What payment methods do you accept?
Alibaba Trade Assurance with credit card or online payment, T/T bank transfer and PayPal for small amounts. Terms for repeat buyers can be discussed, typically a deposit with the balance against the B/L copy.

Which unlock methods can you offer?
Fingerprint, password or keypad, IC card, mechanical key, 3D face, palm vein and app remote unlock. The combination depends on the model, and we confirm it on the quotation.
Does the app unlock the lock directly?
Tuya Bluetooth and TTLock versions support active unlock: the lock opens from the phone without touching it. The older Tuya Wi-Fi version only supports request-based unlock, where the lock is pressed first. Tell us the scenario and we recommend the right version.
Tuya or TTLock, which should I choose?
TTLock is better for multi-user management, timed e-keys and rental use. Tuya is better if your customers already sell or use Tuya smart home devices. Both have iOS and Android apps and cloud APIs.
Can your lock work with my own app or server?
For volume projects we support app customization and cloud-to-cloud integration. Our engineers can join a call with your developer. Custom development is quoted separately.
Which mortise or lock body does the lock fit?
We supply complete sets with 5050, 5845, 6860, 7255, 8545, 8560 mortise bodies, or lock-only versions if you already have bodies. Send a body drawing or a photo of the door edge and we will match it.
What door thickness can it fit?
Most models fit 35-55 mm. Mortise models can be configured for 40-120 mm, and we have supplied 60 mm steel door projects.
Do you have waterproof models for outdoor use?
Yes. IP65 and IP67 fingerprint padlocks and waterproof door locks are available for gates, yards and outdoor installations. Confirm the rating you need at quote, because not every model is offered in both.

Are your locks CE or FCC certified, and can you send the certificates?
CE and FCC documents can be provided for electronic models, together with test reports for your customs or marketplace compliance. [MOCK｜必须修改：certificate numbers, validity dates and covered models]
Can I put my logo on the product and the packaging?
Yes. Logo on the product, colour box, user manual and master carton marking are all customizable. Neutral packaging is also available.
Can you customize lock bodies or panels to my drawing?
Yes. Non-standard mortise length, stainless steel versions, panel size and finish can be engineered. Drawings are confirmed before sampling, and an installation template is included with the production order.

Can you ship to my forwarder warehouse in China?
Yes. We ship to your nominated forwarder address, print your shipping marks and send packing photos for confirmation before dispatch.
Can you handle battery products and shipping restrictions?
Yes. Battery-containing locks can be re-routed and separately manifested where regulations require it. Tell us at quote stage so the routing is agreed before the order is placed.
Can you issue Form E, certificates of origin and export documents?
Yes. Form E, commercial invoice, packing list and B/L are issued in house, and invoices can be issued in the form your customs broker requires.
What about warranty and defective units?
12 months on electronic parts. For a batch problem we send a written root-cause answer and provide replacement parts, a credit or a swap in the next shipment, with photos or video as evidence.
