OEM and ODM Smart Locks
Your brand on the product and on the box, with the specification confirmed before anything is printed or assembled. We run OEM and ODM programmes as a source factory: the assembly, the testing and the export documents are ours, so the process is the same whether you order one carton or a container. The difference is the artwork and the volume.
Send the requirement
Model or application, quantity, target market, drawing if you have one, and the artwork status.
Control point: the specification is frozen in writing before anything is quoted or built.
Specification and drawing review
We confirm the mortise, door thickness, finish, app version and packaging scope, and list anything still open.
Control point: every open question is listed on the quotation, not left to a chat thread.
Sample and artwork proof
A pre-production sample follows in 3-7 days. The packaging proof is reviewed at the same time so both are approved together.
Control point: you approve the sample and the digital proof in writing before anything is printed.
Mass production with photo updates
Production photos and a working video are sent at assembly and packing stages, before the balance payment.
Control point: the first article is checked against the drawing before the batch continues.
Shipping and documents
Form E, invoice, packing list and B/L issued here, delivered to your forwarder or shipped on the term agreed.
Control point: packing and shipping-mark photos are sent before dispatch, with the document set.

OEM and ODM Questions
The six questions buyers ask before a private-label order. Each answer states what changes with volume.
OEM and ODM questions
What can be customized?
Logo on the product, colour box, blister or neutral carton, user manual language, master carton marking and shipping marks. On the hardware side, mortise length, panel size, finish and key configuration can be engineered from a drawing.
What is the MOQ for a private-label order?
1 carton (20 pcs) for padlocks and 30 sets for door locks. Packaging artwork is what usually sets the real minimum, so tell us the quantity and we will say what can be done at that level.
Do I need to send artwork files?
Yes. Send the logo in a vector format and any box design you already have. If you do not have artwork, tell us the layout you want and we will produce a proof from our template.
Who approves the packaging before printing?
You do. A digital proof is approved in writing before anything is printed, and packing photos are sent before dispatch.
Can you develop a new model?
For volume projects, yes. Tooling and development cost, timeline and MOQ are quoted separately after the specification review.
Can you make the lock work with my own app?
For volume projects we support app customization and cloud-to-cloud integration. Custom development is quoted separately, and our engineers can join a call with your developer.
Before You Approve the Artwork
Once a box is printed it cannot be changed, and once a non-standard body is tooled it cannot be reused. That is why the proof and the sample are approved in writing before the run, and why we would rather ask three extra questions at the start than replace a pallet later.
Branding and Standalone Packaging
Where a private-label order actually differs from a stock order. All of it is approved as a digital proof before anything is printed.

|---|---|
| Manual | Language and layout; translations supplied by you or arranged separately |
| Marking and barcode | Barcode value, placement and label stock agreed in the proof |

| Proof cycle | Digital proof first, then a printed sample of the box on request |
| What we need | Logo in vector if you have it, otherwise a high-resolution file |
Key Processes and the Paper Trail
Every stage leaves a record, which is what makes a repeat order reproducible and a claim traceable.

| Body and panel | Dimensions and bore positions measured against the confirmed drawing |
|---|---|
| Electronic assembly | Boards, readers, keypads and battery contacts tested before the shell closes |
| Final assembly | Mechanism and panel joined, then opened once by every entry method |
| First article | First assembled unit of a new specification measured before the run continues |
| Batch record | Batch number recorded so a claim can be traced to the stage that produced it |
| Files we keep | Confirmed drawing, approved proof and the first-article result |
